Both Sentinel Cross Country teams will be competing in the IHSA Class 1A Lisle Sectional at Lisle's Community Park tomorrow, November 1st. Both teams are looking to qualify for next weekend's IHSA State Meet, to be held at Detweiller Park on Saturday, November 8. Both races will be at the 5K distance.

The top ten (10) overall runners in each race will earn a Sectional medal.

Advancement to next weekend's State Meet: The top five (5) teams and the top seven (7) individuals not on a qualifying team.

Note: Any individual who finishes in the top 10 and does not qualify to the State Meet as part of a team will automatically qualify for the State Meet. Although rare, this allows for the possibility that eight (or more) individuals could qualify for the State Meet out of a Sectional.

GIRLS RACE: 10:00 AM

There are 19 teams competing in the Girls Sectional: Aurora Christian, Beecher, Chicago Christian, Clifton Central, Cristo Rey Jesuit, DePaul College Prep, Guerin, Harvest Christian Academy, Herscher, Lisle, Noble Street Charter, North Shore Country Day, Peotone, Prairie Central, Roycemore, Timothy Christian, Walther Christian, Westmont and Willows Academy

BOYS RACE: 11:00 AM

There are 21 teams competing in the Boys Sectional: Beecher, Christian Liberty Academy, DePaul College Prep, F.W. Parker, Harvest Christian Academy, Herscher, IC Catholic, Joliet Catholic Academy, Kankakee McNamara, Leo, Luther North, Montini, Noble Street Charter, North Shore Country Day, Northridge Prep, Peotone, Prairie Central, Timothy Christian, Tri-Point, Walther Christian and Westmont
