Directions for Saturday's Regional

IHSA CLASS 1A AURORA CHRISTIAN REGIONAL

Parents and athletes:

Today (Thursday, October 23) we traveled out to Oakhurst Forest Preserve for our practice today in preparation for Saturday's Aurora Christian Regional. On the way out there, we encountered heavy construction and major backups on Farnsworth Avenue, which is the street that we have taken to Oakhurst Forest Preserve.

We want you to be able to avoid this inconvenience. We have provided directions below for you along with a map to and from Oakhurst Forest Preserve for Saturday's Regional meet.

DIRECTIONS TO OAKHURST FOREST PRESERVE

Get on Interstate 88 Westbound

Take the Eola Road exit.

Proceed South on Eola Road until you reach McCoy Road.

Turn right on McCoy Road.

Follow McCoy Road until you reach Oakhurst Forest Preserve. The preserve will be on your right.If parking is full, you may be asked to park across the street at the church.

DIRECTIONS TO WHS FROM OAKHURST FOREST PRESERVE

1. Turn left on McCoy Road

2. Follow McCoy Road until you reach Eola Road

3. Turn left on Eola Road

4. Drive north on Eola Road (stay in the left lane)

5. Turn left on Diehl Road

6. Merge onto Interstate 88 East from Diehl Road (you will need an I-Pass)

7. Take the Midwest Road exit

8. Turn left on Midwest Road

9. Turn left on 35th Street, then right on Oakwood Drive and follow back to the High School.

Saturday is looking like a beautiful day! We hope to see many of our parents out there on Saturday -- just be sure to avoid Farnsworth Avenue! :)
