Practice Times for Freshmen Runners Changed on Tuesday 8/18 and Weds. 8/19

Next week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, our practice times for our athletes will be held a little differently due to Freshman Orientation in the morning on those days, which will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 am both days, which is during our practice time. So, we wanted to take the time to list out when exactly your athletes will be expected to attend practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will also send out Remind text alerts to athletes and parents in advance of Tuesday's and Wednesday's practices.

On Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we will have the normal practice schedule.

Tuesday, August 18:
Freshman Orientation -- 8:30-11:30 am
All sophomores, juniors and seniors are expected to attend the 8:00 am morning practice and the 3:00 pm afternoon practice.
All sophomores, juniors and seniors will receive their team uniforms at the end of the morning practice.
Freshmen will be expected to attend the 3:00 pm afternoon practice.
All freshmen will receive their team uniforms at the end of the afternoon practice. Freshmen can expect to be released around 5:00 pm.
Wednesday, August 19:
Freshman Orientation -- 8:30-11:30 am
Picture Day -- 12:10 pm
All sophomores, juniors, and seniors are expected to attend the 8:00 am morning practice. Practice will be done around 11:00 am. All sophomores, juniors, and seniors are expected to return to the school by no later than 12:00 noon for pictures if they elect not to stay on campus.
We recommend that all freshmen stay after the end of freshman orientation at 11:30 am as team pictures will be at 12:10 pm. We also recommend that all freshmen bring their team uniform with them to orientation in order to be ready for picture day.
All athletes are expected to bring their team uniforms that they will be issued at the end of practice on Tuesday to picture day. Athletes will be wearing their jersey top and shorts. Athletes do not need to bring the sweat top or pants to picture day.
After team pictures are completed (around 12:30-12:45), all athletes will be free to go home.
Varsity athletes and freshmen will be expected to return to school to attend a 3:00 pm afternoon practice. Varsity runners can expect to be released by 4:00 pm, and freshmen should expect to stay until about 5:00 pm.
Looking ahead to next week:
Monday, August 24th is the first day of school. There will be no morning practice that day. We will be switching our whole team practices to 3:00 pm, after the school day has ended each day.
