Peoria First to the Finish Invitational

Meet information for the First to the Finish Invitational tomorrow at Detweiller Park in Peoria has been posted.

This is a big meet that is run on the state meet course. There are eight races during the meet, but we are only competing in the first two, the Class 1A Girls and Boys races. We will not stay for all races, and we will stop and get lunch on the way home.

It's a long drive and it's an early start -- the bus leaves at 5:00 am tomorrow. Bring a pillow with you to sleep on the bus, if you so wish.

There is one difference between this meet and most other invitationals that we compete in: This meet allows unlimited runners, regardless of level. Everyone is running in the same race. The scoring method will be the same as all other meets, though.
