Every year, many of the top teams and individuals in Illinois head to Terre Haute, Indiana to compete in the Nike Cross Nationals - Midwest Regional. Teams compete as clubs and the top two club teams qualify for the Nike Cross Nationals Finals in early December along with the top five individuals not on an advancing club. The Midwest Regional includes Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Michigan, and Ohio.
